I hate change. Who doesn’t? I had been with my last dentist 22 years. I have not been happy the last 10 years but I didn’t change dentists because I had become complacent. Terri was my dental hygienist for those 22 years so when she told me she was leaving to come work Dr. Murphey’s, i told I was going where she was! I just became a patient of his this past week. I had my 6 month cleaning by Terri who has become my friend over the years. I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived at Dr. Murphey’s office. The office was extremely clean and modern. I loved the many pictures of his patient’ s before and after pictures of “smiles he had fixed” running on the Flat screen. Most of the pictures had him in them with his patients and I like that. Beautiful work. After Terri finished cleaning my teeth, Dr. Murphey came in and introduced himself. He took time to ask what I did for a living, how I knew Terri and told me a little bit about himself. I didn’t feel like he was in a hurry like I did with my last dentist. Dr. Murphey is very personable and you immediately like him. He is one of those kind of people. When we were finished and I was being checked out by the young lady; she said my name. I know that shouldn’t be a big deal but at my other dentist office there was a lot of front desk employee turnover. I never felt in the last 10 years that nobody knew my name. Oh and Dr Murphey is in Mutual of Omaha ‘s “ in network” providers list, my last dentist was not “ in network” and I always had to pay something even if it was a cleaning! I didn’t have to pay anything. His office is convenient and off Highland Colony Parkway by Costco. I have zero regrets changing dentists after 22 years. I am going to love coming to Dr. Murphey’s office.
